   I’m very suspicious of this fire. The damage is far to vast for it to have been an accident. Real Estate developers are know to do these type of things in order to push city goverments in taking action on abandoned property.

   I believe it was certainly arson, but I dont believe the entire structure including Piquette Market was meant to be destroyed. The gas main happened to be on the front of the Market facade – and when that blew, the building was toast and then collapsed.

   Witnesses I talked to the next morning saw the fire start, and Ill just say that what the explained sure wasnt an accident.

   I think it was part of the Superbowl demolition frenzy, as several structures were targeted and burnt, or demolished by Kwames high school buddy with no permits. All within a very short time span.

   Further, Studebaker was slated for renovation. The facade was to be saved and preserved with lofts built behind.

   So – whatever it was, it was bullshit.
